TABLESCAPE THURSDAY AND THRIFTY THURSDAY

I am so excited for this particular
THURSDAY TABLESCAPE AND
THRIFTY THURSDAY. And I have our
two very sweet hostess' to thank for that,
Ms Susan and Ms Leigh thank you.We can find
these fine ladies and all our other friends @
http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/
http://lbratina.blogspot.com/

You may remember me telling you about
collecting over many months pink rose
dishes.I truly love pink rose and green, but
some are just pink.Today,to welcome in our
incoming Spring we will celebrate and use
them for the first time.
All these dishes cost so very little. But
as with most of our conquest,it was the thrill
of the hunt. This entire table cost so little.
I can still remember the day I found the
butter pat and the creamer.James and I were
on our way home from my favorite thrift store.
Remember it?How----------can you forget it?
I was so tired. You know how tired you get
spending money, right?I was really was ready to call
it a day.
Most of you know my spouse is as big an aholic
as we are.He stopped at a garage sale.ok----------.
I couldn't find anything. When out of the side of
one eye.oh my goodness.It is,it is.....
I grabbed them up so very fast .But not until I got
into the car after we left did I "really"see how delicate
the painting was.And the curves of the molding of
the little swirls on them.Just lovely.
I found these bowls, and months later found
this tablecloth.It's almost exact.
I think it turned out quite cute.I'll keep tweaking it.
It's not the Ritz,but it's sweet.
Thank you for coming. Now,since I was late posting,
if----there's anyone left to go see at Leigh's ans Susan's.

What a lovely table and you have now put me on a quest to find place mats as lovely as yours. I also have a set of softer dishes that would love to sit on lace. Your bunny candle sticks are just precious.

Have a Thankful Thursday

Love those dishes, and they look like they were made to go with the tablecloth or vice versa. Great job.

Hello Dearheart...

Ann, I think that this is my most favorite of all the tablescapes that you've done!!! Of course, you know how I'm on a "bunny fetish" right now...hehe! But it's not just your adorable bunnies that I love...I love, love, love those bowls!!! That has got to be one of the prettiest patterns that I've ever seen!!! Do you just have the bowls? Girl, you're absolutely right...that tablecloth looks like it was made to go with the pattern on the bowls...it's gorgeous!!! Love the charger plate and that little dessert/salad plate is soooo pretty (looks frenchy to me)! This is such a grand table...really! You said something about it not being the ritz, but I beg to differ with you! What a beautifully done tablescape!!! I adore it!!!

Love ya, Sweetie!

I'm loving all these tablescapes. My husband uses our dining room table as an office. ugh.

I am not a bunny person until about Spring and then I'm all over the bunny stuff. It is just adorable!

I could actually see the snag you described at the garage sale. I've done that, too. LOL How fun!

Hey Ann!
Thanks for not getting mad at me! I tried to pull up your page on my laptop and it crashed it again but I was able to get it to come up on my old computer upstairs. So what ever you did did help some!
Take care,
