Hello there,and welcome
to my Thursday Tablescape
AND Thrifty Thursday.I am
entitling this as Simple and
Sweet.You'll soon see why
I can use one tablescape for
both memes.
I set up our little breakfast
nook for a quick little meal.
Here I have used our aqua
Fiesta plates.Napkins from
J.C.Penny.Napkin holders
from a garage sale.I've had
them so long,I probably paid
50 cents for them.I just thought
they were so dainty. The white
plates my daughter sent when I
recently had the flu.
My pretty little glasses
are crystal. They are light as air
and so delicate.Thrift store.$1.00
This is our everyday flatware.Stain-
less by J.C.Penny.The chargers are
new.Big Lots $1.50 each.Brushed
sliver.I think they're so charming.
The plate in the middle is of course
a candle stick I glued a wooden plate
dh found at the thrift store in the 5 cent
Thank you for coming by .Please check
out all the other participants. Here are the
links to both.

Love what you did with DH's find. A very good idea. I adore your stemware, bargain or not.

I was looking at some chargers at Wally World and DH asked what they were for. When I told him "for pretty", I don't think he really understood that sometimes we (women especially) just like something because it is pretty. He is so used to me being practical that I think I threw him off base.

Hi ANN- Congratulations on your awards-

Looks like it's time for a tea party! Love the color of those fiestaware plates!

I miss my little table for 2- it is usually where we eat but that is the room I am trying to do something with since before Thanksgiving! AFter my friends had "helped" me start to wallpaper I just got stuck- do I take the paper off as it was not done right- do i leave it- gosh darn- I finally figured that I think I can make it work by taking just some of it down- I am working all the rest of this week up till Monday then with other commitments don't know when I will finally tackle the job but I at least have it in my head what to do which was most of the battle!! So sorry to bore you with all the boring details but you made me long for my little space again so hopefully i have gotten the kick in the pants to do so!!
