Hello and Welcome to another TABLESCAPE THURSDAY.
hosed by our ever-so -fascinating Ms Susan @

As alot of you know,I've been having a light case of the flu.
It's just enough to keep me from feeling good. But even if I can't
do my best,I want to "play'.
Since I've been feeling like mud,I did no shopping.Hubby did.
But...we live out in the boom-docks.We only have about four
chioces, all were sold out of Valentines.I kept waitng thinking I
would feel better.All....he could find at all were these plastic
plates.But I think they're lovely.See the sparkle?Hey,if it's your only
choice? And a man did the shopping.
I own no....white plates and the only red have roosters on them.
Not too Valentinesy huh?So this is what I came up with. All in all,
what is important is the amount oF love and romance in our heart,
Oh and the flowers are real.Dh brings me fresh flowers almost
every week.

I rounded up every cupid I could find
to help me here.

Even the little cherub on the pitcher.

Hi,I'm feeling better so I've added
a few changes. And since the "compose"
does not like me,I'm leaving well enough
alone. My sweet daughter sent me these white
dishes in the mail.AWWWWWWWWWWW.Her knew her
mommie was sick...And I added some dried
flowers.I didn't have any red,but you
have to admit,it does look better.Thank you
all for your well wishes and patience.Cause...
BABY,I'M BACK......................

Glad your feeling better! Enjoyed the table. I haven't been able to find hardly any valentine stuff this year, unless it's fake flowers or chocolate.

What a sweet, loving daughter to send you white plates too. I just love to see this and you enjoying it so much. I am so glad you are feeling a bit better too. Love, Cindy

I think you set a wonderful table myself.
DH and I made an agreement when we married not to place to much emphasis on "holidays" but rather to cherish each day as it comes. It's worked so far. He tells me to buy anything I "want". The hard thing for me is to try to keep my "wants" in line with our budget.

Since I am a retired bookkeeper he expects me to manage our expenditures. I am constantly juggling things around to figure a way to buy something for him that I know he desires but would never ask for. I've done pretty well so far.

Oh, I love your tablescape with all the cupids and the red. Your DH did just great. Even getting a man to go shopping is a real treat. Thanks for stopping by my dish post and all my wonderful white dishes I found at GW. I am like you in that I didn't have anything white, so the hunt began. I love all the great things at GW. Go if you have a change, there seems to be an abundance of white there and they also have 50% off days. Can't beat that. Hugs, Marty
