Hello,and a huge
welcome to
Tablescape Tuesday
hosted by the sweet
and lovely Susan @
Today,I am showcasing
my Horchow Roosters.
They were on sale about
2yrs ago and I said,
"I want those". As you
can see in one of the
pictures,they are Coventry
Stoneware Spring Rooster.
Along with them are our
flatware by Rogers Brothers
called.First Love.Awwwww.
To keep them company,I
put out momma hen and
big daddy rooster by,Heart
Felt Kitchen Creations.
As you see the bowls are
rather plain,i wish they
also had the rooster in them.
But,you can't have everything.
With this meal we will have
coffee,so out go the coffee
cups and the little matching
cream and sugar.
and the tiny little salt cellar.
I've really enjoyed these dishes.
They of course match my
kitchen and they're hardy
enough for the grand children.
And you can see we're getting
lots of use from our"new"

Hello.Welcome to another
trash to treasure hosted by
Diane @ http://diane1876.blogspot.com/
My post today isn't really
trash although they should've
been along time ago.But...the
budget just doesn't have it in
it.So what does a girl do?I have
tried my hand at pretending to
be Rose @http://santamakersjourney.blogspot.com/

and create a reupholstered
work of art.It ain't happening!I
wish I could do what that little
lady does,but....
So,remember when Gloria @http://wwwhappytobe.blogspot.com/

dyed her chairs?A HUGE light
went off.Of course Wallyworld
didn't have many colors,and did
not have the colors, any of the
colors I wanted.But I love this.
It matches
the tans in my entry and in my
living room.Who knew?Thank
you Ms.Gloria.I once again love
my chairs.
They are still in great shape.
I've had covers over them all
their life.But even through the
covers,some stains had gone
through.Not a pretty sight.
Here you see before:

And after-WOW

And after.How did I do?

Please-----------------go by and check out the other
participants. We all work so hard.Let us show off.
Thanks for coming by....See ya next week...

Well my friend, how are you doing? Haven't heard from you in a couple of days. Not much going on here...just trying to keep "pluggin'" along...hehe!!!
